Although we specialise in dicing organic dates from Tunisia and Pakistan we are able to provide to our customers practically all of our process and retail pack products as an organic alternative.

Organic foods are growing ever more popular as the consumer demands ever higher standards of quality and ethical production of foodstuffs, and each year we find we are adding several new lines to the list of organic products we supply.

Plasto Food Services Ltd are registered with “Organic Farmers & Growers Limited” who are an independent third party organisation set up under the auspices of the United Kingdom Register of Organic Standards, which is recognised by the Soil Association (SA). Organic Farmers and Growers are identified as “UK2” on packaging.

As you might expect, Organic Farmers and Growers carry out thorough audits of Plasto Food Services at least once a year. All documentation right back to the growers is checked and the movements of organic stocks is reconcilled. Organic Farmers and Growers are also a valuable source of information and expertise as we expand the range of our organic processing and packing.
