Plasto is a leading international merchant of dried dates from Iran and Pakistan to packers and manufactures around the world. Our experience over many years has created a depth of knowledge and understanding of origin, its suppliers, inspection, storage and transit requirements and makes us uniquely positioned to meet the demands of our customers.

Iran and Pakistan are the main origins for internationally traded dried soft dates and both present difficulties in procurement. Our experienced, local, HACCP trained inspectors in both origins carry out crop and processing plant audits and inspect all goods prior to shipment. They also supervise fumigation and the loading of containers. This control works to the advantage of both buyers and sellers. It ensures that deliveries meet buyer’s specification and that they are ensured a reliable supply of raw material. Sellers can be assured of payment against shipping documents so that they can re-use their capital for further business and avoid the risk of problems or delay at destination.
